What is Cell Site Analysis?

Cell Site Analysis seeks to determine the general whereabouts and movement of cellular mobile telephones based on analysis of call event records containing cell usage data that are maintained by the cellular network operators, together with ancillary information regarding Radio Base Station (Cell Site) configurations. Radio surveys are often also undertaken to verify the configuration of the cellular network and to identify serving cell sites at significant locations or along specific routes.

Having completed the analysis, the findings are presented in evidential report form with call tables and call mapping suitable for use in court.
